Whitecroft, Lydney, Glos GL15 4PE 01594-562483 'Good beer, nice crowd' Well kept real ales always available CAMRA 'National Perry and Cider Pub' 2005 Mario and Karen welcome you to the Miners Arms in Whitecroft, a traditional public house located in the Forest of Dean, approximately 2 miles from Lydney and close to the tourist village of Parkend. There is full disabled access to both pub, facilities and clubroom. The
pub itself retains a traditional Forest pub character, reflected in the decor
and the pub games such as skittles, quoits and shove ha'penny. For those with a
preference for fresh air there is a very pleasant garden. Directions The pub is on the B4234 that runs from Lydbrook to Lydney through the heart of the Forest of Dean. From the A48 at Lydney, take the B4234, opposite the Swan Inn, signed to Whitecroft, Parkend & Lydbrook. After about two miles you enter the village and after a sharp left hand bend over an old-style railway level-crossing the pub is directly on the left. From Parkend, follow the B4234 towards Lydney, after a mile turn right, towards Bream, before you run straight into the pub! There is parking in the pub car-park or in the factory car-park opposite the pub car-park.
